We are looking for a D2C Marketing Lead, who will coordinate organic marketing (email, social media, blogs and affiliates) across many of our current D2C brands — SheetMusicPlus, SheetMusicDirect, MusicRoom, Muse Hub, MuseScore and Ultimate Guitar.
The role will help improve efficiency, build a more metrics based approach, increase coordination across our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of D2C marketers executing acquisition and retention campaigns across email, blog, social media and affiliate channels.
- Lead a regular cadence of strategy sessions and retrospectives, taking a metric-based approach to future planning.
- Build and maintain a D2C marketing dashboard.
- Define the future shape of the D2C marketing sub-team along with the Director of Marketing, including building an effective affiliate marketing function.
- Collaborate with the D2E Marketing Lead and B2B Marketing Lead to find opportunities to mutually grow revenue and user-bases across the business.
- Align with the Director of Marketing and Creative team on brand and copy guidelines in any outgoing communications.
Required experience:
- Experience delivering high-reach and high-impact campaigns across marketing channels, particularly email and social media.
- Experience managing a mid-sized team of marketers, ideally across multiple products or brands.
- An experimental, metric-based approach to marketing.
- The ability to take the initiative to propose new creative and marketing concepts.
- Experience playing a musical instrument and/or reading sheet music.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize the most high impact projects.
- An attitude of being unafraid to jump in and assist with execution of tasks when necessary.
- A love of music and music culture.

- Experience with PPC and Meta advertising.
