We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Copyright Manager to join our team, supporting rights management, reporting, and copyright operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, managing multiple systems, and collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities

Reporting:

  • Manage rights databases, ensuring accurate metadata and ownership information
  • Test reports and prepare data for regular reporting (Muse: UG, MU, GMR, ASCAP usage and testing)
  • Add and update data in BackBeat, identify and resolve errors
  • Prepare provisional royalty calculations in BackBeat
  • Collect, monitor, and process LODs

    Educational direction:

  • Communicate with course authors and the product team
  • Prepare payment data for royalty mailings
  • Match publisher catalogs and perform content blocking where required

    Copyright:
  • Assist with adding and updating songs and copyright information in the Portal
  • Support LOD filtering tasks in Asana
  • Handle tasks in Tresona and Zendesk
  • Upload CWR files to HL
  • Support PCR-related tasks
  • Collaborate with the Sublicensing team

    Content Operations:
  • Perform content blocking and unblocking
  • Required experience

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a similar role or in areas such as copyright, data management, reporting, operations, or rights administration
  • English proficiency at B2 level (both written and spoken)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and documentation
  • Basic understanding of copyright or music publishing processes
