We're looking for an HR Director who will be responsible for leading and executing the organization’s human resources strategy in alignment with business objectives. A core focus of the role is building, coaching, and strengthening the C-level leadership team, supporting executives in developing high-performing teams and a strong culture, improving decision-making, and scaling leadership capabilities across the company.

The HR Director will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to develop effective leadership structures, foster strong executive collaboration, and ensure the leadership team operates with clarity, accountability, and alignment. This role includes executive coaching, leadership development, and succession planning, helping senior leaders grow both individually and collectively while building a strong leadership bench.

The HR Director will oversee the entire HR function, including HR operations, talent management, employee relations, and compliance across multiple regions. This role ensures that people strategies, organizational design, and talent initiatives effectively support business growth and operational excellence.

By working closely with senior leadership, the HR Director will drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and a high-performance culture, ensuring the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while enabling leaders to successfully execute the company’s strategy.

The role is open to candidates based in Cyprus or those willing to relocate to Cyprus.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to build, coach, and strengthen the C-level leadership team
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership, providing guidance on organizational design, leadership performance, talent strategy, and company scaling
  • Develop and execute the company’s global HR strategy in alignment with business priorities, with an emphasis on AI-driven practices and improving the efficiency of People processes through AI
  • Create, drive, and implement HR practices for M&A activities
  • Coach senior leaders and executives, helping them build high-performing teams, enhance leadership capabilities, and navigate complex organizational challenges
  • Lead all HR functions, including recruitment, People Partners, compensation & benefits, and others, ensuring these areas support the company’s strategic direction
  • Design and strengthen leadership pipelines, implement succession planning frameworks, and ensure strong internal talent development for critical roles
  • Drive organizational effectiveness, the Muse culture, and employee engagement, ensuring the company maintains a high-performance environment as it scales
  • Oversee HR policies, processes, and governance across global locations, ensuring consistency and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with international labor regulations, proactively managing HR risk across multiple locations
  • Lead and develop the global HR team, including defining the HR technology strategy to support efficient and scalable People operations
  • Required experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading HR functions, including managing distributed and multicultural HR teams, with a proven data-driven approach
  • Proven experience supporting and coaching C-level leaders, helping executive teams improve collaboration, leadership effectiveness, and decision-making
  • Proven experience in building and developing high-performing leadership teams, as well as in leadership development and succession planning in a multicultural environment
  • Experience managing multi-country HR operations, including working across different labor markets, cultures, and regulatory environments
  • Nice to have: experience supporting M&A activities, including HR due diligence, leadership and cultural integration, organizational restructuring, and post-merger integration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership
  • Experience in strengthening company culture during periods of growth and transformation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with curiosity, pragmatism, and a sense of humor when facing complex challenges
  • Fluent in English
