MuseScore Studio is looking for a C++ Developer, who brings technical expertise and can contribute across multiple areas of a large and evolving codebase. You’ll work on core product functionality that sits at the heart of our music-tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new features for MuseScore Studio, including music engraving and/or UI development
  • Debug and resolve technical issues
  • Review code from other team members
  • Participate in regular team meetings and planning sessions

Required experience

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience working with C++
  • General understanding of music notation and engraving

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Qt/QML
  • Experience with Git
  • Contribution history on GitHub (or similar platform)
  • Proficiency in at least one music notation software
