Key responsibilities

1. Lead Finance Projects and Transformation Initiatives

  • Develop clear project plans, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
  • Coordinate stakeholders across US and international finance teams
  • Serve as project lead for ERP and NetSuite enhancements or implementations
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and timely delivery of project objectives
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive resolution
  • Monitor progress and provide structured updates to leadership

2. Improve Finance Processes and Operating Efficiency

  • Map, analyze, and optimize core finance processes (AP, AR, GL, payroll, treasury, reporting)
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close improvements through structured initiatives
  • Standardize and document finance workflows and procedures
  • Implement scalable frameworks for reporting and data management
  • Translate system changes into practical, sustainable day-to-day routines
  • Partner with operational leads to ensure smooth adoption of new processes

3. Drive Visibility, Governance, and Performance Tracking

  • Define KPIs and track project performance against agreed milestones
  • Build simple dashboards and tracking tools to measure execution health
  • Establish clear governance structures and accountability models for initiatives
  • Facilitate regular project check-ins and retrospectives
  • Provide structured reporting on project status and outcomes to senior leadership

Required experience

  • 3+ years of experience in finance operations, controllership, or accounting operations, preferably with multi-country or multi-entity exposure.
  • Proven experience managing complex month-end close processes across time zones and cross-border operations.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
  • Hands-on ERP experience — NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Jira, including workflow optimization and automation.
  • Experience maintaining structured documentation in Confluence.
  • Track record of building process discipline, improving operational efficiency, and simplifying complex workflows into scalable systems.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills across all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and execution-focused, with a data-driven mindset and measurable outcomes.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
