Hal Leonard Europe — as part of Muse Group — were proud to once again support the Youth Music Awards this year, marking our seventh consecutive year of championing one of the UK's most important celebrations of grassroots music.
Taking place in Liverpool on 28 October, the Awards brought together young artists, community leaders and grassroots projects from across the country, all united by Youth Music's mission to make sure every young person can make, learn and earn in music, whatever their background or circumstances. Our support furthers Hal Leonard and Muse Group's commitment to music accessibility in all its forms, from developing accessible tools for composers to expanding education access worldwide.
This year, we were honoured to sponsor the Social Action Award, which recognises an individual, collective or project that has made an outstanding commitment to their local community and to social justice. It's an award close to our hearts. In 2024 we presented the award to Supermann on da beat for his campaign for accessibility in music venues, and this year's shortlist showed, once again, just how much music can change lives.
A huge congratulations to TiPP, whose Rhythm and Renewal project took home this year's award, presented by Louise Unsworth on behalf of Hal Leonard and Muse Group.
Working across the North West, Rhythm and Renewal uses music and the arts to support young people involved in the youth justice system. Through music-making, mentoring and accredited qualifications, the project gives young people the space to express themselves, build confidence, strengthen relationships and imagine new futures. Just as importantly, it breaks down the barriers that so often stop these young people from taking part, opening pathways into education, employment and the arts.
Rhythm and Renewal is a brilliant example of what the Social Action Award is all about: proof that creativity can be a powerful force for social justice and lasting change.

We also want to congratulate this year's fellow nominees, each doing extraordinary work in their communities:
Every one of these projects puts young people's voices at the heart of what they do, and we're inspired by them all.
Since we first partnered with Youth Music, we've seen first-hand the difference their funding, advocacy and community make to young people across the UK. From headline sponsorship to championing the Social Action Award, it's a partnership we're incredibly proud of.
Thank you to the Youth Music team for another unforgettable night, and congratulations again to TiPP and all of this year's nominees and winners. To find out more about Youth Music and how you can support their work, visit youthmusic.org.uk.
