We’re looking for a skilled HR Generalist to take full ownership of our HR operations in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to our local team while helping to align and elevate HR practices across our European offices.

Work format:
- Location: Heerenveen, Netherlands (Hybrid — min. 2 days/week in office)

- Own the sickness management process for the Netherlands, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and timely coordination with employees, managers, and external partners.
- Handle day-to-day HR administration, ensuring accurate data and timely processing.
- Act as the on-site contact for employee HR questions and route complex issues to senior HR.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation for new hires
- Maintain HRIS records and assist with audits, reporting, and compliance tasks.
- Prepare payroll inputs and coordinate with local payroll providers.
- Help ensure compliance with Dutch employment law and company policies.
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.
- Support other EU HR processes as needed
- 2–5 years of HR generalist experience in the Netherlands
- Strong understanding of Dutch employment law, especially sickness management requirements.
- Skilled in HRIS administration (HiBob a plus) and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent communication in Dutch and English
- Able to work independently on site while collaborating closely with a dispersed HR team.
