As a Product Designer at MuseScore Product Team, you'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of one of the world’s most popular music platforms. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to design intuitive, engaging, and accessible features that bring value to millions of musicians around the globe.

- Design mobile-first experiences across music discovery, playback, and practice tools
- Own the full design process — from research and concept to polished UI and handoff
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs for iOS, Android, and mobile web
- Translate product ideas into seamless user experiences in collaboration with PMs and developers
- Design A/B test variations to improve key metrics like conversion and engagement
- Partner closely with mobile engineers to ensure smooth, high-quality implementation
- 5+ years of product design experience, with 3+ years focused on mobile
- A strong portfolio of shipped mobile products, ideally in media, music, or content-rich apps
- Expertise designing for iOS, Android, and mobile web platforms
- Deep understanding of mobile UX patterns, microinteractions, and visual hierarchy
- Mastery of Figma and modern design workflows
- Experience working with data and metrics to iterate and improve designs
- Skilled at simplifying complex user flows and information architecture
- Bonus points if you’ve worked on music apps or with audio/notation content
- English level: Upper-Intermediate
Highly expected
- A personal connection to music — whether you play an instrument, sing, or compose, your musical intuition will enrich the design process
- Experience reading sheet music and playing from scores is highly expected — it allows you to better understand our users' mindset and create more intuitive, relevant experiences
- Familiarity with music learning or practice apps (like MuseScore, Ultimate Guitar, or similar) is a strong advantage
